Groundbreaking Augmented Reality in the real world
Yes, we’ve all heard of Augmented Reality. Yes, there have been some good examples that use the technology, but we all know there have been some shocking ones too. That’s why when we see something a little different it really stands out from the crowd.
This live Augmented Reality installation from Nation Geographic really brings to life the channel in an inventive and playful way. The premise? Simple. People walking past a large projection screen get to interact with animals, dinosaurs and space men among other things. The 3D characters are beautifully executed, and it really helps suck viewers into the imaginary world. An idea like this could have lived or died on the execution, and in my opinion they have spent the time and money making sure that it delivers on the idea in the best possible way. Really nice work from the guys at Appshaker.
