Unlock Xperia: Facebook Campaign
Fresh out of iris this week comes this new Facebook Activity; Unlock Xperia. A simple idea - every phone has an unlock screen, so why not simply get people to guess the four digit code? Guess it right and win the phone there and then. With ten handsets to give away over forty days, we are hoping this gains momentum throughout the campaign.
The app itself, although simple on the outside has some pretty complex stuff going on in the back-end. Users that have a crack are added to a queue and can watch their guesses play out in realtime with everyone else. It keeps people engaged as they can watch other peoples guesses come in before their own. Each day, Sony Ericsson Australia will be releasing hints to what the magical codes are, giving people one more reason to follow them on Facebook.
