Never get hit by a car again
Well, probably not. But this Android App does at least attempt to improve the safety of pedestrians on the road. By using the rear facing camera, and having the app running while on a call, the phone is constantly checking the environment around you, vibrating or beeping loudly if a car is approaching near you as yo cross the road. It’s a nice idea. I guess the root of the problem though lies in the fact that the pedestrian is not concentrating on their surroundings from the first place. Loose the phone, and there is no need for the app.
