HOP - The following suitcase
Now here’s a really clever use of technology, for those that are too lazy (or just too cool) to carry their own suitcase. HOP, is a new suitcase which will follow behind you while you walk. It uses the bluetooth technology in your phone to triangulate your position, with caterpillar tracks on the underneath rolling it in the appropriate direction. I’m not sure if it is simply a concept at this stage or if it is actually available. You can’t deny that it’s pretty cool, until someone swipes your case from behind you without you realising. File under ‘gadgets you never thought you needed, and still probably never will’.
