Cadburys get you pumped for the Olympics

To get their fans pumped for this years Olympics, Cadburys are giving them the chance to join an ever-growing parade on the streets of London through a Facebook app. Simply create a little avatar and add it to the parade of walkers. Users can personalise them using colours and props too. It’s nicely executed and has a great visual style, even if it does massively resemble a certain Uniqlo campaign from last year.

Fosters Mid Morning Matters (with Vic & Bob)

Branded content can be hard to pull off. How do you get the product message accross but not slam it down the consumers throat? It can sometimes be a challenge to get the right balance. Fosters beer in the UK have had a crack at this territory using comedy legends Vic & Bob. Product mentions are limited simply to supers at the top and tail, with the content merely used to entertain.

I am interested to see how this campaign develops, as they release more and more of these ‘webisodes’. Hopefully they will all take the angle of mocking stuff that is popular on YouTube - Cat’s anyone? You heard it here first ;)

See the brand channel here to keep up to date with all the latest releases.
